Starwood Hotels is among my top hotel chains, offering a range of brands that suit every preference, including the widely popular Westin and Sheraton, the high-end St. Regis, the trendy W hotels, and the cost-effective Four Points. The quality of their services is consistent throughout all their brands. Although I prefer the W hotels, I tend to stay at Westin hotels more frequently as they are typically located near my clients’ offices.

Throughout my travels, I have stayed at various Starwood Hotels for different companies, utilizing various hotel rates and codes. However, based on my experience, Accenture has an outstanding global agreement with Starwood.

Starwood’s corporate codes are referred to as SET codes, which can be entered in the booking form online. Accenture is a significant consulting firm that primarily focuses on information technology and strategy-related projects, with a global workforce of over 300,000 employees and revenues exceeding US$30 billion.

The SET code for Accenture at Starwood hotels is 57464, and it works for all Starwood properties, including Westin, St. Regis, W hotels, Sheraton, Four Points, Le Meridien, Aloft, and more.

Although some Westin properties may offer better rates to IBM and some W hotels may offer better rates to Oracle, Accenture has been able to negotiate competitive discounts across all Starwood hotels in both the US and Europe. For instance, during a business meeting with Accenture in Milan, Italy, I stayed at the Westin, and the Accenture rate was astonishingly low for such a luxurious property. (I strongly recommend visiting the rooftop terrace). If you work for Accenture, booking a room using the Accenture SET code will ensure that you get a lovely room at an excellent price.

Surprisingly, many Accenture employees are unaware of their SET code. The code was not provided to me by Accenture or any of its employees. Instead, I found the Accenture SET code on Flyertalk forum (www.flyertalk.com). Although I typically use the Accenture code when my trip relates to Accenture business, I have never been asked for identification during hotel check-in.

Lastly, I recommend the following Starwood properties that I adore:

  • The W Lakeshore Hotel in Chicago, boasting an incredible view of Lake Michigan. While I also stayed at the other W in Downtown Chicago, the Lakeshore one is superior due to its lakefront location.
  • The Westin Resort on the Sunset Key Island facing Key West, a breathtaking resort in a remarkable Caribbean setting that I highly recommend.
